These little pouches are good to take the cellphone and have a compartment at the front for ATM cards and cash.

Refashion - De capa a colete / From cape to vest

Fiz esta capa há algum tempo mas nunca a vesti. Até ficou gira mas não gostava muito de me ver com ela. Acho que mais tarde vou fazer outra, mas com tecido de casaco e num estilo diferente...
Por isso... pus a tesoura a trabalhar e transformei-a num colete! Gosto de coletes em malha e gosto muito deste tecido.
De certeza que o vou vestir muitas vezes!!

I did this cape for a while but never use it. I liked the cape but I didn't like to see me with it. I think later I will do another one with coat fabric and in a different style...
So... I put the scissors to work and turned it into a vest! I like knit vests and I love this fabric.
For sure I will wear it a lot!!

Casacos para os meninos \ Jackets for the boys

Foi a primeira vez que fiz roupa masculina, apesar de ser de criança!

Fiz estes casacos para os meus filhos andarem por casa nos dias frios.

O tecido é muito quentinho e super macio, eles adoraram!!!

O mais novo até pousou para a fotografia! :)

It's the first time that I do masculine garments although it's for children!

I did the jackets for the boys wear at home in the cold days.

The fabric is very warm and super soft, they love them!!!

The youngest even posed for the photo! :)

Montes / Piles

De certeza que não sou a única que tem montes....

 No atelier existem vários montes! O monte de peças para arranjar, as peças que não ficaram como queria, ou peças antigas, por isso estão no monte para transformar e o monte de tecidos novos que estão à espera para que algo seja criado com eles.
Já me esquecia, também existe o monte das revistas Burda, que são compradas porque têm algo que me interessa mas que nunca faço nada a partir delas. Qualquer dia começo o desafio Burda, fazer pelo menos uma peça de cada revista para justificar a sua compra! :)

Fiquem atentos aos próximos posts, acho que vou atacar o monte das coisas para transformar! Tenho lá umas peças que me vão dar muito jeito para o Inverno.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that have piles...
In my work room there are several piles! The pile of pieces to fix, the pieces that are not as I wanted or old pieces, so they are in the pile of things to refashion and the pile of new fabrics that are waiting for something to be created with them.
I almost forgot, there is also a lot of Burda magazines, which were bought because they have something that interests me but never did anything from them. Some day I will start a Burda challenge, make at least one piece of each issue to justify their purchase! :)

Stay tuned for future posts, I think I'll attack the pile of things to refashion! There are some pieces that will be very useful for this Winter.

O início após o início / The beginning after the beginning

Decidi criar este blog para dar a conhecer as experiências que tenho vindo a fazer no mundo da moda.
No ano passado terminei um curso de Corte e Costura e um curso de Design de Moda.
Apesar do pouco tempo que tenho, nos meus tempos livres vou fazendo experiências (com as coisas que desenho ou outras que gosto), desenvolvendo os conhecimentos que tenho e tentando criar algo novo neste mundo de sonhos e fantasia.


Sweet porque sou romântica e esse romantismo aparece sempre nas peças que crio e Black que é a minha cor preferida e mostra um lado um pouco gótico da minha personalidade.

Espero que gostem dos trabalhos que aqui vou publicando e quem sabe um dia o sonho passe à realidade e em vez de se ler "Trying to be a Fashion Designer" leia-se "Ana Vieira Fashion Designer"...

I decided to create this blog to show the experiences that I have been doing in the fashion world.
Last year I finished a Pattern and Sewing course and a Fashion Design course.
Despite the little time I have, in my free time I'll experimenting (with things that I design or others that I simply like), developing the knowledge I have and trying to create new things in this world of dreams and fantasy.
 
Sweet because I am romantic and romanticism always appears in my creations, and Black is my favorite color and shows a rather gothic side of my personality.

I hope you enjoy the work that I will publish here and maybe one day the dream pass to reality and instead of reading "Trying to be a Fashion Designer" appears "Ana Vieira Fashion Designer" ...
